The DUMP project (Use and misuse of domperidone in Parkinson’s disease in France) has for aim to conduct a pharmacoepidemiological study to determine the use and misuse of domperidone in French Parkinson's disease patients based on complementary approaches: an observational study performed in patient, a qualitative approach to investigate the practices and beliefs of neurologists and a retrospective analysis of the French health insurance database (SNIIRAM).
The main investigator is Maryse Lapeyre-Mestre of the CIC-P 1436, this project is funded by the 2016 ANSM call for proposal “Pour un bon usage des produits de santé : évaluation et prévention du mésusage des médicaments et dispositifs médicaux”.
